Well, my poor blog has been sadly neglected lately! We have been on the road since June1, and it seems that there just hasn't been to many opportunities to blog.
Since Kent is the Public Relations Director at PVBI, we travel quite a bit for the school. This summer we have been travelling with Heritage Quartet. They are a great group of young people, and we have enjoyed our time with them.
Our tour this summer encluded a western jaunt. Though the scenery is gorgeous, the people lovely, and the camps sounded like a lot of fun; Khloe and I decided to stay with family in AR for this leg of the trip. Those long days in the van, and primitive youth camps just didn't seem to wise for a baby:)
Needless to say we have really missed Kent(Daddy) and can hardly wait for him to come back and pick us up in just a few more days!
My mom and dad were here for part of our stay and we had such a nice time with them. Khloe got to reconnect with Gramma and Grandpa, and of course they spoiled us rotten!
We had a wonderful time with them at camp. God was with us in such an amazing way! I felt that He really worked me over, and stirred me up spiritually!
We also, had an awesome time just relaxing at the lake, and doing fun family things!
As we relax, poor Kent has been slaving away!:) Right now he is with the group at a very "rough-it" type youth camp in New Mexico. They don't have electricity, no running water, and they are tenting it! However, I don't feel sorry for him at all because he LOVES those types of adventure. I would love to be "roughing-it" to, but I suppose not all things are quite the same when you have little ones.
So all in all, it has been a great summer so far! God has been with us, and we thank Him so very much for His loving care!
